устройство блочного ввода-вывода, блочное устройствопериферийное устройство или ОЗУ, которое может осуществлять ввод-вывод только блоками данных (обычно фиксированного размера, fixed-size block). Каждый блок хранится на устройстве под собственным уникальным адресом и может считываться или записываться независимо от других блоков.
